Marika Jaeger

Marika Jaeger is a MECCE Project Research Associate who is working on our Knowledge Syntheses exploring interdisciplinary perspectives related to climate change communication and education. She works in Prof. Nicole Ardoin’s Social Ecology Lab on a range of projects, including several systematic review studies. Marika is particularly interested in the intersection of environmental conservation and human economic development. Her experience includes conducting conservation-focused field research in Latin America, teaching environmental science in rural Costa Rica, and working on an array of environmentally focused research projects at Stanford University, including in the Galapagos with Professor William Durham in Anthropology. She holds an MS in Earth Systems, with a focus on sustainable development, and a BA in Human Biology, with a focus on human-environment interaction, from Stanford University.
