Hajar Idrissi

Hajar is working as a Research Associate on the MECCE Project’s Axis 1 Country Profiles project. Hailing from Morocco, she holds a jointly supervised PhD in Education from Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University Fes, Morocco and the Graduate School of Education and Human Development, George Washington University, USA. Hajar’s main research interests focus on citizenship education policy trends; global citizenship; curriculum and instruction; sustainable development; discourse analysis. She has been previously involved as a research assistant in the UNESCO Transition Study undertaken by NISSEM/ SEPN “Educational content up close: Examining the learning dimensions of Education for Sustainable Development and Global Citizenship Education”.
