Dr. Stefan Bengtsson

Stefan Bengtsson represents with MECCE Partner, SWEDESD on the Indicator Working Group. He is also the MECCE Project Regional Hub Chair for Europe. Stefan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Education at Uppsala University. His research focuses on issues of sustainability in education. Stefan has been the national coordinator for Education for Sustainable Development in Sweden and is currently deputy link convenor for the Environmental and Sustainability Education network of the European Education Research Association. In parallel to his academic work, Stefan has also provided technical assistance to international efforts to address sustainability and gender issues in education, in particular in the East and South-East Asian context.
