Dr. Sachi Ninomiya-Lim

Sachi Ninomiya-Lim is part of the MECCE Project’s Knowledge Mobilization Working Group. She is an Associate Professor at the Center for Liberal Arts at Tokai University. Here she facilitates education for sustainable development (ESD) and environmental education (EE) as part of liberal arts education for undergraduate students in a variety of disciplines, including natural and social sciences and humanities. Previously, she was an Associate Professor at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology where she coordinated the AIMs program, which facilitates exchanging undergraduate students among universities in Japan and Southeast Asia for collaborative education for sustainable development. She was also an ESD Coordinator for the Japan Council on the Decade of Education for Sustainable Development.
