Soojeong Ahn

Soojeong Ahn is a Ph.D. student in Educational Policy & Leadership at the University at Albany – State University of New York. Her research focuses on educational inequality through large-scale cross-national studies in education, and she is currently studying academic and emotional resilience in students. Soojeong earned her M.A. in Sociology of Education from Pusan National University, where she explored the impact of Official Development Assistance on student achievement in developing countries. She has also been involved in UNESCO projects such as “Climate Change and Sustainability in Science and Social Science Secondary School Curricula” and “Analysis of Primary Education Syllabi for Green Content.” Her work aims to explore how educational policies and practices impact student outcomes and contribute to addressing global educational challenges.
