Dr. Patricia Bromley

Dr. Patricia Bromley participates on the MECCE Project’s Indicator Expert Group. She is an Associate Professor at Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education, Co-Director of the Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society, and Director of the Global Civil Society and Sustainable Development (GCSSD) Lab. The GCSSD Lab investigates the social and cultural underpinnings of sustainable development problems and solutions and promotes the search for ways humans and the earth can flourish together. Dr. Bromley teaches courses related to global education policy and nonprofit organizations. Her spans a range of fields including organization theory, comparative education, and the sociology of education, covering the substantive topics of sustainable development, minority and human rights, civil society, and globalization.
