Ms. Noora Firaq

Climate Outreach
Noora Firaq is Climate Outreach’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer, working on rewriting the climate story to ensure people trust and support and have a say in the changes we make to address climate change. Climate Outreach is a social science and lived experience-led organisation. Noora is passionate about involving everyone in shaping a more sustainable and fairer world. Noora is also a board member of Westmill Wind Co-operative. Noora grew up on the frontlines of climate change – in the Maldives – one of the most climate-vulnerable countries in the world due to the country’s natural land scarcity and low-lying geography. She has lived experience of how climate change shapes socio-economics, psychology and the security of communities. She is passionate about having an inclusive conversation about how we tackle climate change as a global community.
