Dr. Andrew Deuchar

Andrew is a Postdoctoral Scholar with the MECCE Project. He conducts education focused geographical research. Andrew has conducted ethnographic research in India and more recently conducted research with international students in Australia. He is particularly interested in how educated young people navigate changing educational landscapes, the challenges and opportunities that mobility affords young people, and highlighting the positive contributions that young people make to societies.
