Climate Outreach
Noora Firaq participates on the MECCE Project’s Indicator Expert Group. Noora Firaq is Climate Outreach’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer, working on rewriting the climate story to ensure people trust and support and have a say in the changes we make to address climate change. Climate Outreach is a social science and lived experience-led organisation. Noora is passionate about involving everyone in shaping a more sustainable and fairer world. Noora is also a board member of Westmill Wind Co-operative.
Noora grew up on the frontlines of climate change – in the Maldives – one of the most climate-vulnerable countries in the world due to the country’s natural land scarcity and low-lying geography. She has lived experience of how climate change shapes socio-economics, psychology and the security of communities. She is passionate about having an inclusive conversation about how we tackle climate change as a global community.
